Position: Product Support Representative

SUMMARY:
NJ, UT, and WY-based construction equipment distributor seeks experienced Product Support Representatives.  We are searching for candidates with a minimum 3 years of relatable experience, preferably in the heavy equipment/construction industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities, among others, include the following:

  • Responsible within specified territory for customer support of OEM products and aftermarket sales of both parts and service;
  • Develop relationships with customers to strengthen the distributer parts and services activities;
  • Must be comfortable working independently and in the field; and
  • Possess ability to assist and manage customer parts and service needs.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  • Minimum of 3 years technical related skills within the construction industry;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • Excellent computer skills a must;
  • Superior attention to detail;
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload and projects; and
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.

Position: Inside Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. An inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and helping close sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities, among others, include the following:

  • Maintain Customer Relationships – understand customer needs and build relationships with customers by proactively following up on their satisfaction with company services and addressing inquiries and concerns. As the customer’s first point of contact with our company, you’re responsible for relaying information and coordinating with internal teams to solve issues.
  • Create New Sales Opportunities – reach out to potential buyers through cold-calling or by contacting inbound leads, as well as by replying to phone calls, and emails. Further create new opportunities with existing customers by pitching relevant products or services. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
  • Ensure Handling of Requests – beyond updating customers about ongoing requests, ensure that these requests are implemented on time. Handle logistics, such as filing purchases and tracking shipments, or work with other employees to ensure quick delivery of services.
  • Contribute to Documentation – update information in the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) software. This includes account details, sales history data, and profiles of inbound leads.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  • Customer service – sensitive to the needs and concerns of customers, remaining courteous at all times while swiftly responding to requests.
  • Data entry – comfortable logging data and must take note of important details in all customer interactions and update the company database accordingly.
  • Strong memory – strong listening to keep track of several accounts, which have different preferences and requests. In addition, must know the company’s products and services thoroughly.
  • Organization skills – handling logistics, answering inquiries, ideal for organized multitaskers who manage their time well.
  • Communication Skills – excellent verbal and written communications skills to speak to customers about a product’s different features, and answer any questions they might have.
  • Persistence – ability to bounce back if you lose a sale will be key for this job. Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
